Fire Safety Website Design

About The Project

The fire safety company’s original website was a single-page design that, while visually appealing, lacked the structure needed for strong SEO performance. Single-page websites are limited in their ability to rank for multiple keywords because all content is condensed into one place. This limits opportunities to target specific services, locations, and search queries, ultimately reducing the site’s chances of being found by potential clients on Google.

To address this, we transitioned the site into a multi-page structure, improving both its usability and its visibility in search engine results. By breaking content into dedicated service pages, we created a platform that was far more SEO-friendly and accessible to visitors.

Expanding the Website to Highlight Key Services

To showcase the full range of services offered by the fire safety company, we expanded the website to include individual pages for each offering. Dedicated service pages for fire risk assessments, fire alarm installation, fire extinguisher maintenance, and fire safety training allowed us to optimise each page for relevant keywords and search terms. This approach helps search engines understand the content better, improving the site’s rankings for multiple service-related queries.

For visitors, this structure makes it easier to navigate the website and find the exact services they need. Each page includes clear information, professional visuals, and calls to action that encourage potential clients to reach out for more details.

Geographically Targeted Content for Local SEO

Local search engine optimisation (SEO) was a key priority for the new website. We created geographically targeted content to improve the company’s visibility in specific areas where fire safety services are in high demand. By building location-based pages—such as “Fire Safety Services in London” or “Fire Risk Assessments in Manchester”—the website is better positioned to attract local clients searching for fire safety solutions in their area.

This geographically focused strategy helps the business connect with a targeted audience, boosting local search rankings and increasing inquiries. Combined with a modern, responsive design, the new website positions the company as a trusted, accessible provider in the competitive fire safety industry.

Client Review

From the business owner

Wingnut Websites helped us with our on site and off site Search Engine Optimisation. This is an area that we don't know a lot about and therefore didn't know exactly what we needed. We put our trust in this company to tell us what was needed and to make changes to our website. We are very happy with their work as it looks great and is also leading to more enquiries. We are continuing to work with Wingnut Websites for our website updates and for future SEO improvements. Thanks again to the team.

What you need to know

If you already have a logo and the content (words and pictures) to go on your new fire safety website, it will take approximately two weeks to build. A new logo will take about a week if starting from scratch and would need to be done first, as this provides the colours that will be used on your website.  We often find that writing the words to go on an fire safety website often take longer than expected but we would provide guidance on this.

Technically speaking you don’t need a logo for a fire safety website.  That said, a professionally designed logo looks fab on a website and can really help you look credible.  We can help create you a new look with our logo design service.

We’ll provide full instructions on how to edit the words and photos on your fire safety website as part of the build costs.  For major changes, we can provide a very competitive quote.

With over half of all internet browsing and searches done with a mobile phone or tablet, it is vital your fire safety website works on these devices.  A properly designed fire safety website should do just that and change its appearance depending on the screen size.  All of our fire safety websites work on all devices.

Websites are quoted on a basis of how much work needs doing.  A very basic fire safety website would start at £499. We know we are not the cheapest but strongly believe we provide a solid product, backed up by excellent customer service (see our reviews).

As a full service fire safety website design company we provide a comprehensive range of hosting solutions for fire safety business websites.  As well as hosting we can also look after email accounts for your fire safety business.

Photos are key to making your fire safety website look good. Visitors are more likely to contact you if you have good quality photos. Investing in a photographer will pay dividends in the long run, as well as providing you with photos for any printed material or social media posts.

To get found, your fire safety website will most likely need to be on the first page of Google or Bing.  This will require your website to have some search engine optimisation carried out on it.  All of our fire safety websites have the on-page SEO done while being built.  You may need off-page SEO after the website goes live to get the best result.  We can help with that too.

Absolutely, reviews are invaluable for a fire safety website. They build trust by providing social proof, reassuring potential customers about the quality of your fire safety services. Positive reviews can also boost SEO by adding fresh, user-generated content, which helps improve search engine rankings. In a competitive market, showcasing authentic feedback can set your site apart, attract more visitors, and ultimately lead to higher conversions.
