About The Project

Using the superb photographic imagery provided by Euan, we were able to build a classy website for his dog training and dog behaviour website. We used a smart deep green as our primary colour and paired it with mid-tone off white to give the website a point of difference from the standard white background often found on websites.  The idea was to give the website a very natural feel that compliments the photography.

The heading font is Fahkwang, a fairly quirky font that actually has it’s roots in Thailand.  We chose it for this project as it just seemed to work with the imagery.

The website is optimised for gaining work by targeting the Cotswolds area for terms such as ‘dog training’ and ‘dog behaviour’ classes.

Client Review

From the business owner

Ben did a website for my new dog training business and having no idea what I was doing, he asked me a few questions about my aims and came up with a website that looks exactly as I hoped. The layout and colouring fits exactly with the impression I want from my business, and he implemented any minor tweaks I wanted from personal preferences. He was always happy to have a call to discuss things, and gave wider advise beyond just the website details which has proven very useful.

What you need to know

If you already have a logo and the content (words and pictures) to go on your new dog trainer website, it will take approximately two weeks to build. A new logo will take about a week if starting from scratch and would need to be done first, as this provides the colours that will be used on your website.  We often find that writing the words to go on a dog trainer website often take longer than expected but we would provide guidance on this.

Technically speaking you don’t need a logo for a dog trainer website.  That said, a professionally designed logo looks fab on a website and can really help you look credible.  We can help create you a new look with our logo design service.

We’ll provide full instructions on how to edit the words and photos on your dog trainer website as part of the build costs.  For major changes, we can provide a very competitive quote.

With over half of all internet browsing and searches done with a mobile phone or tablet, it is vital your dog trainer website works on these devices.  A properly designed dog trainer website should do just that and change its appearance depending on the screen size.  All of our dog trainer websites work on all devices.

Websites are quoted on a basis of how much work needs doing.  A very basic dog trainer website would start at £499. We know we are not the cheapest but strongly believe we provide a solid product, backed up by excellent customer service (see our reviews).

As a full service dog trainer website design company we provide a comprehensive range of hosting solutions for dog trainer business websites.  As well as hosting we can also look after email accounts for your dog trainer business.

Photos are key to making your dog trainer website look good. Visitors are more likely to contact you if you have good quality photos. Investing in a photographer will pay dividends in the long run, as well as providing you with photos for any printed material or social media posts.

To get found, your dog trainer website will most likely need to be on the first page of Google or Bing.  This will require your website to have some search engine optimisation carried out on it.  All of our dog trainer websites have the on-page SEO done while being built.  You may need off-page SEO after the website goes live to get the best result.  We can help with that too.

Absolutely, reviews are invaluable for a dog trainer website. They build trust by providing social proof, reassuring potential customers about the quality of your dog training services. Positive reviews can also boost SEO by adding fresh, user-generated content, which helps improve search engine rankings. In a competitive market, showcasing authentic feedback can set your site apart, attract more visitors, and ultimately lead to higher conversions.
