Village hall website with Hallmaster Integration
Ashford Village Hall
Village hall website with Hallmaster integration.
About The Project
This project was a bespoke website design for a busy village hall in the picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water. The aim was to create a unique and functional online presence that caters to the needs of both the hall and its users, reflecting the character and heritage of the village.
Village Hall Website with Hallmaster Booking System
The website incorporates the Hallmaster village hall booking system, allowing regular users to book the hall with ease. This integration ensures a streamlined booking process, making it convenient for the community to reserve the hall for various events and activities. The Hallmaster system is user-friendly, providing a seamless experience for managing bookings and availability.
Custom Logo Design and Visual Elements
We also created the logo for Ashford-in-the-Water Village Hall, which features poppies to honour its status as a war memorial. The blue colour in the logo represents the many wells and rivers that are prominent in the village. Additionally, we used wave-like page separators to symbolise the flowing water, adding a unique and thematic touch to the website’s design.

Our approach to village hall web design ensures that all essential features, from booking systems to communication tools, are seamlessly integrated into a modern, user-friendly platform. By focusing on both functionality and aesthetics, we create websites that not only serve practical needs but also enhance the overall community experience. What you need to know
How long does it take to build a village hall website?
If you already have a logo and the content (words and pictures) to go on your new village hall website, it will take approximately two weeks to build. A new logo will take about a week if starting from scratch and would need to be done first, as this provides the colours that will be used on your website. We often find that writing the words to go on a village hall website often take longer than expected but we would provide guidance on this.
Do we need a logo for our village hall website?
Technically speaking you don’t need a logo for a village hall website. That said, a professionally designed logo looks fab on a website and can really help you look credible. We can help create you a new look with our logo design service.
What if our village hall wants a booking system?
This is fairly straightforward. We recommend the Hallmaster booking system which is a fantastic system for taking bookings, raising invoices and displaying a calendar/schedule of upcoming events.
How do we edit our village hall website once it is built?
We’ll provide full instructions on how to edit the words and photos on your village hall website as part of the build costs. For major changes, we can provide a very competitive quote.
Does our village hall website need to be responsive?
With over half of all internet browsing and searches done with a mobile phone or tablet, it is vital your village hall website works on these devices. A properly designed village hall website should do just that and change its appearance depending on the screen size. All of our village hall websites work on all devices.
How much does a village hall website cost?
Websites are quoted on a basis of how much work needs doing. A very basic village hall website would start at £499. We know we are not the cheapest but strongly believe we provide a solid product, backed up by excellent customer service (see our reviews) – buy cheap buy twice!
Can you organise website hosting and email for our village hall?
As a full service village hall website design company we provide a comprehensive range of hosting solutions for village hall websites. As well as hosting we can also look after email accounts for your village hall.
How can we make our village hall website stand out from the crowd?
Photos are key to making your village hall website look good. Visitors are more likely to contact you if you have good quality photos. Investing in a photographer will pay dividends in the long run, as well as providing you with photos for any printed material or social media posts. We generally find that someone in the village has a good quality SLR and can take the required photos.
What SEO do you need for a village hall website?
To get found, your village hall website will most likely need to be on the first page of Google or Bing. This will require your website to have some search engine optimisation carried out on it. All of our village hall websites have the on-page SEO done while being built. You may need off-page SEO after the website goes live to get the best result. We can help with that too.
Do reviews help a village hall website?
Absolutely, reviews are invaluable for a village hall website. They build trust by providing social proof, reassuring potential customers about the quality of your venue. Positive reviews can also boost SEO by adding fresh, user-generated content, which helps improve search engine rankings. In a competitive market, showcasing authentic feedback can set your site apart, attract more visitors, and ultimately lead to higher conversions.
